Ski leasing & fleet financing: costs, process and examples
Updated: September 2026
This guide answers the questions operators ask before buying a ski or snowboard fleet: what the equipment costs, which financing models are available per country, from which volume it makes sense and how delivery works.
The short answer
- A pair of skis costs an average of EUR 420 net in B2B purchasing, a snowboard EUR 299 net. Snowboard boots are around EUR 129 per pair, bindings around EUR 149 each, helmets from EUR 29.
- Financing is available from a net asset value of EUR 5,000 – roughly 12 pairs of skis or 17 snowboards.
- We offer hire purchase in Germany, leasing in Switzerland and both in Austria. Terms: 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months.
Hire purchase or leasing – which fits your operation?
Both models spread the investment across the term. The difference is the goal: hire purchase leads to ownership, leasing keeps instalments low and the fleet current.
- Hire purchase: the equipment becomes yours at the end of the term – useful when you work with the same fleet long term.
- Leasing: predictable monthly instalments, regular fleet renewal, less capital tied up.
- Country rule: Germany hire purchase, Switzerland leasing, Austria leasing and hire purchase.
From which fleet size is financing possible?
The minimum is EUR 5,000 net asset value. Smaller needs are covered by direct purchase at B2B terms. The fleet can be extended during the season when demand rises.
What belongs to a complete rental setup?
Skis and snowboards alone are rarely enough in a rental operation. We supply the full chain from one source, with one contact for product, design, restocking and financing.
- Skis and snowboards from our own development
- Bindings, snowboard boots and helmets
- Individual topsheet designs from certain quantities
- Restocking and extension during the season
How does the process work?
Three steps from first call to delivery before the season: discuss requirements, design the solution, deliver the equipment. You receive a calculation shortly after your enquiry, or you build it yourself in the calculator and print it as a quote.
Worked example: 30 pairs of skis and 20 snowboards
All figures are net, non-binding average values. The actual instalment depends on credit standing, term, down payment and equipment mix.
- 30 pairs of skis (EUR 420 per pair)
- EUR 12,600
- 20 snowboards (EUR 299 per board)
- EUR 5,980
- 20 pairs of snowboard boots (EUR 129 per pair)
- EUR 2,580
- 20 bindings (EUR 149 each)
- EUR 2,980
- Total net asset value
- EUR 24,140
Minimum asset value for financing: EUR 5,000 net. Calculate your individual instalment for 6 to 60 months in the calculator.
REGENIX Care: plan warranty into the calculation
Operational reliability belongs in the calculation. Warranty tiers can be selected directly in the quote; care units are ski pairs and boards.
- Standard Care · 12 months
- included · EUR 0
- Pro Care 24 · 24 months
- EUR 29 per unit (purchase) or + EUR 1.50 per unit/month
- Fleet Protection 36 · 36 months
- EUR 49 per unit (purchase) or + EUR 2.00 per unit/month
