Ski leasing in Switzerland: fleets for rentals, hotels and lift companies
Updated: September 2026
For businesses in Switzerland we finance ski and snowboard fleets through leasing. This guide covers our net prices, the minimum asset value, available terms and what to plan for when equipment is delivered into Switzerland.
The short answer
- In Switzerland financing runs through leasing. We do not currently offer hire purchase there – Germany is hire purchase, Austria offers both.
- Pricing basis: EUR 420 per pair of skis, EUR 299 per snowboard, EUR 129 per pair of snowboard boots, EUR 149 per binding, helmets from EUR 29 – all net and on average.
- Leasing starts at EUR 5,000 net asset value, terms run from 6 to 60 months, down payments in euros or percent.
Why leasing works for Swiss operations
Leasing keeps the fleet on a predictable renewal cycle. In destinations such as Valais, Graubünden or the Bernese Oberland guests expect current equipment, and a planned replacement after 24 or 36 months is easier to budget than running a fleet until it is worn out. The monthly rate spreads the investment instead of tying up capital right before the season. Please confirm tax and accounting treatment with your fiduciary.
- Planned replacement cycle instead of running equipment to the end
- From EUR 5,000 net asset value, terms of 6 to 60 months
- A down payment lowers the monthly rate, in euros or percent
- REGENIX Care can be included as a monthly surcharge per unit
Fleet sizes for rentals, hotels and lift companies
A unit is one pair of skis or one snowboard. Rental stations plan by peak occupancy rather than season average, hotels by beds, lift companies by demo and youth programme demand. Five to ten percent reserve covers repairs without turning guests away.
- 50 units (30 pairs of skis, 20 boards, 20 boots, 20 bindings): around EUR 24,140 net
- 100 units (60 pairs of skis, 40 boards, 40 boots, 40 bindings, 50 helmets): around EUR 49,730 net
- 250 units: around EUR 124,180 net
Delivery into Switzerland
Switzerland is outside the EU customs territory, so delivery is handled as an export with the corresponding import formalities. Build that into the schedule: fixing the fleet in spring or summer leaves room for sample approval, production, transport and storage before the season. Quotes and asset values are stated net in euros.
Custom designs for destination and hotel
Development and production are in-house, so topsheets can carry your hotel, ski school or destination branding. For lift companies and resorts the fleet becomes a visible part of the brand rather than neutral rental stock – and demo days or youth programmes get their own recognisable series.
